AGES 6+

Let your little artist bloom with us! We will explore different mediums throughout the year, like drawing, painting, sculpture, fiber arts, and even try our hand at origami!

 

This will be a relaxed class in which a teacher will take a short time to introduce a medium to the class, and allow for practice for the rest of the period. Children are also welcome to bring their own projects to work on instead of the “craft of the day,” and are encouraged to be as “productive” or not as is appropriate for them.

 

Required skills: This class can be tailored to a wide range of abilities and attention spans. You don’t need to know how to read, or be able to sit still for long periods of time.

 

Homework: There will be no required homework.

 

Lecture time: Lectures will usually be 10 - 15 minutes.

 

Special supplies parents will provide: No supplies needed, unless your child has a specific craft they’d like to work on during class time, that isn’t related to our lesson.
