AGES 10+

Come join us and learn about the wonderful world of Dungeons & Dragons. We’ll embark on adventures in a world of role playing, magic, monsters, and mystery. Players will use dice to determine the outcome of their actions, and the game is typically overseen by a Dungeon Master who guides the story and controls non-player characters. The game encourages creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving as players navigate through a series of challenges and encounters.

Skills required: Must be a cooperative team player! This includes being respectful of others, taking turns/not talking over each other, and understanding that your ideas/actions in the game can impact your teammates. Other skills required include basic reading/writing skills and being able to add/subtract. Students can take movement breaks as needed, but should expect to be actively participating and following along.

Homework: No homework

Lecture time: The DM will be guiding the adventurers through the game for 45 minutes.

Special supplies provided by parents: If a student or their family has a copy of the D&D Players Handbook they should bring it, but it’s not required.
